Teaching Sells
is one of the best online courses you can invest in if you want to learn how to develop perennial content that people want to pay for. Brian Clark of Copyblogger fame, and two associates created the course to help you create, structure, and promote online courseware membership sites in your niche.
The Teaching Sells curriculum is jam-packed with information and action steps to help you develop courseware that people want to buy. The course includes information on tools and techniques for:
- Discovering niche markets
- Creating compelling content
- Using screen capture and screencast software
- Developing testing tools for your users
- Building and managing a membership list
- Promoting your course
- And much, much more
Hundreds of bloggers and site owners took the course last year and have proven that you can use the Teaching Sells material to build high-volume, high-quality membership sites. Clark has improved and updated the content based on comments from his earlier members. And, to help you learn even more, and find joint-venture partners in course programs, Teaching Sells includes a well-attended forum with helpful members.

Because Teaching Sells is only open for a limited time to new members, the time to join is NOW. The course is a reasonably priced, recurring monthly fee for a specific run. You can download a Free Teaching Sells Report

How do you generate buzz for your business? I’m running a brief survey to find out more about how you are driving traffic and drawing customers to your service or product business, online or off.
There are only about 8 questions, so the survey should only take a couple of minutes to fill out. I’ll publish the results after I’ve collected a few dozen responses.
Click here to go to SurveyMonkey and take my survey!
I’ve been saying this privately to friends and family for years. Glad to see that somebody is finally reporting on it. The problem is huge in Silicon Valley, where many of my friends are at the peak of their creative years, backed by decades of experience. Yet, they’re stuck. Job Lock.

click2try.com Welcome Page
For the last few months, I’ve been working with a great team of people over at click2try, a community site that lets you try Open Source software easily, without the hassles of installation or configuration. The click2try site manages to harness several information technology trends in one neat package.
Their entire site, including the virtualization software that lets you run applications right from your browser, was built with Open Source software: Xen hypervisor, Joomla! CMS, and other OSS apps.
Just recently I completed researching and writing a white paper for them, that explains how several critical information technology trends are coming together in places like the click2try site. These trends include virtualization, Open Source, energy efficiency, SaaS (subscription based software), and of course, the cloud.
You can download the paper from the click2try site at http://www.click2try.com/information-technology-trends.
If you’re looking for a way to try or use Open Source software without the management hassles, check it out. If you’re looking for a way to convince your manager to let you give Open Source, virtualization, or any of these other technologies a try, this report might help you make the case.
